Ozomedic ozone suppositories are made from pure ozone and organic olive oil.

An OzoMedic ozone suppository holds 2.6 mL of completely ozonated olive oil.  They are created with medical oxygen and a cold plasma ozone generator.  The advantage of using low frequency cold plasma ozone when producing ozone oil is that no heat will enter the oil. Other ozone generators that are high frequency create heat up to 250 degrees which enters the oil and can make it lose some of the beneficial properties.

Various oils hold different concentrations of ozone, which can be determined with the potential ozonide intensity factor. This is measured by looking at the 3, 6, 9 omega fatty acids that the oil holds. Oils with higher omega 9 fatty acids hold more ozone. Olive oil is roughly in the middle of the potential ozonide intensity scale.

We recommend storing ozone suppositories in the refrigerator so they will last longer and are easier to use. Ozonated oil has been known to last over ten years when refrigerated.  It is highly recommended placing into a refrigerator immediately upon receiving to help preserve freshness.
